Bob Duke
Board Chairman

Bob Duke is a partner in the public accounting firm of Sproles Woodard, L.L.P.

He serves as Director of Tax for the firm, which has three offices in Texas and New Mexico. He is directly responsible for the tax practice in the Fort Worth office which provides services in the areas of trusts and estates, partnerships, corporations, mergers and acquisitions, nonprofit organizations and high net worth individuals.

As a Certified Financial Planner, Bob also advises clients in various matters concerning their financial planning goals and strategies.

His professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of CPA’s and the Financial Planning Association.

He has served as Chairman of the Tax Committee of the Accountants Global Network, Chairman of the Visiting Committee of the Abilene Christian University College of Business Administration and Board member for the Funding Information Center of Fort Worth.

He is a member of the Petroleum Club of Fort Worth and Fort Worth Wildcatters.

Bob received a Bachelor of Science degree in General Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Economics with academic honors from Abilene Christian University. He also received a Master in Professional Accounting Degree with a specialization in taxation from the University of Texas at Austin.

Bob and his wife reside in Colleyville, Texas, and have one son and two granddaughters.


Bryan N. Mitchell, Sr.
Board Vice Chairman

Bryan Mitchell is Chief Executive Officer of History Maker Homes, a fourth generation family-owned business.

His responsibilities include financial oversight, lot acquisition, land development and oversight of new home product design.

History Maker Homes currently builds approximately 1,200 homes per year in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, area -- focusing on the first time homebuyer market. In addition, the company has its own mortgage company, generating over $100 million in annual originations.

Bryan was a director and major shareholder of Northwest Bank in Roanoke, Texas, prior to its sale in 2006 to Texas United Bancshares. He has been involved in banking since 1991.

He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1971 with a degree in veterinary medicine. He practiced for 14 years prior to joining the family business in 1985.

Bryan and his wife reside in Fort Worth, Texas. They have two children and five grandchildren.


Nancy Haney Scott
Board Secretary

Nancy Haney Scott is President of Haney & Associates, P.C – a legal firm which she has led since 1990. Her practice includes multiple disciplines within the Business and Corporate Services, Private Wealth Management and Real Estate areas.

Nancy holds professional licenses to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas, the U.S. Tax Court and the Federal Court: Northern District of Texas. In addition, she has delivered numerous presentations and authored articles to a variety of audiences on a broad range of legal topics and issues.

Nancy is a member of the State Bar of Texas and serves on the following committees: Corporate Law, Business Law and International Law. She also is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association.

She serves as a corporate officer and director of T.I.E. Enterprises, Inc. – and has previously served as a corporate officer and director for Mercantile Bank of Texas, NA Women’s Advisory Board, Data Distribution Management Systems, Inc., O/PUS, Inc., and Silver Plus, Inc.

Her extensive community involvement includes serving on the board of directors for the National Association of Women Business Owners, Fort Worth Business Assistance Center – Women’s Advisory Board, Girl Scouts Circle T Council and Women’s Leadership Exchange. She also was a founding board member of Open Arms Homes, Inc., and a past board member of The Women’s Shelter.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Texas in 1985, and a Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University in 1990.

Nancy and her husband reside in Colleyville, Texas.

Brent Barrow
Board Member


Brent Barrow is a Senior Development Officer for Abilene Christian University. In that position, he is responsible for directing the major gifts and endowments program involving ACU’s former students and supporters in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Previously, he founded Barrow Electrical and Lighting Supply Company in 1986 – a company which he still owns and serves as chairman of the board.

Brent serves as a board member for the Community Enrichment Center, the Birdville Independent School District’s Foundation for Educational Excellence and the North Richland Hills Civil Service Commission. He serves as Trade Council President for History Makers Homes and has been a longtime leader in the Richland Hills Church of Christ senior high youth department.

He earned a BBA in management from Abilene Christian University in 1986. While at ACU, Brent was heavily involved in student government, serving as class president for two years. He also served as president of one of the university’s social clubs for men during his senior year.

Brent and his wife reside in North Richland Hills, Texas, and have three children.


 

Melissa Barrow
Board
Member

Melissa Barrow serves on the board of trustees of Fort Worth Christian School and is President of the Associated Women for Christian Education. With AWCE, she oversees a variety of activities for the benefit of the Fort Worth Christian community – including fund raising, teacher appreciation events, student recognition events and other special initiatives.

She is a member of the Richland Hills Church of Christ and has taught extensively in the youth education program. She also has been actively involved in Girl Scouting for a number of years.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics Education from Texas Tech University in 1980.

Melissa and her husband reside in Colleyville, Texas, and have two daughters.


Deryl Beakley
Board Member


Deryl Beakley is President of C&W Manufacturing and Sales – a company he purchased in 1992.

His company designs, engineers, manufactures and installs air pollution control equipment for companies in the construction industry.

Deryl serves on the boards of directors for Fort Worth Christian School (since 1992) and World Bible Translation Center (since 1996).

He graduated from ACU in 1969 with a bachelor’s degree in Social Science. He subsequently graduated from Texas Tech University in 1972 with a master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management and Organizational Theory.

He also served as a senior manager with Foley’s Department Stores from 1972 through 1992.

Deryl and his wife reside in Colleyville, Texas, and have two daughters.


Mike McKee
Board Member

Mike is a member of Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas where he serves on the Stewardship Committee of the Vision 2020 Team and on the Personnel Committee. Mike has served as a Bible study leader at Fielder since 1993 and currently serves in the High School Youth Ministry as a Sunday Morning Bible Study Teacher and Adult Youth Leader for numerous off campus events. Mike and his wife host a weekly small group Bible study for high school sophomores.

Raised in a Christian home in the Texas Panhandle town of Gruver, Texas, Mike was led to Christ at age 9 by his father. Mike realized God’s call to surrender as a young adult and began a growing journey of discovery that has firmly established, and continues to establish, God’s truths and guiding principles of purposeful life in Christ.

Mike received a B.S. in Geology from Texas Tech University in 1985 and attended the M.S. Geosciences program at UTA until 1988. Prior to joining the Jetta Operating Company, Inc. staff in 1998, he worked for 10 years as an exploration geologist with Fortson Oil Company. Mike served 5 years through the officer ranks of the Fort Worth Geological Society and 2 years on the board of directors of the Fort Worth Oil Information Library.

Mike married his high school sweetheart in 1983 and they have two children - one in high school and another in college. They reside in Arlington, Texas.


Danny Phillips
Board Member

Danny is the current owner of Diamond P Ranch – a registered Texas Longhorn cattle operation in East Texas.

He is involved in various philanthropic activities as well as managing his own investments. Danny also serves on the Board of Abilene Christian University.

He began his career as a CPA at Condley and Company, CPA’s from 1981 thru 1985. He then joined Harken Energy Corporation in 1985 and served in various senior financial roles including Corporate Director of Financial Reporting, Treasurer and Director of Taxation.

In 1991 he served as Chief Financial Officer for Aloha Petroleum where he contributed to turning the company around and successfully completed the sale of the company in December 1991.

Beginning in 1992 and continuing for more than 10 years, Danny served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Advance PCS, a pharmaceutical distribution company. He initiated and managed the process of selling the company in 2004 for more than $6 billion to a competitor.

He graduated from Abilene Christian University with a B.B.A in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Texas.

Danny and his wife reside in Colleyville, Texas, and have three children.


Ray Pinson
Board Member

Ray Pinson is President of Oak Hill Services, LLC, which provides accounting and administrative services for a number of investment funds under the Oak Hill name. He also serves as Chief Financial Officer for Oak Hill Capital Management, Inc. and Oak Hill Investment Management, L.P. (which manages a number of the Oak Hill investment funds).

Ray is involved with Oak Hill Strategic Partners, and has been since the group’s inception in 1996.

Prior to his service with Oak Hill, he served as Senior Vice President of Keystone Holdings, Inc.

He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ray graduated summa cum laude from Abilene Christian University in 1979 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Ray and his wife reside in Colleyville, Texas, and have three children.
